Featured on today's (March 30) instalment of the Guardian's New Band of the Day is none other than UK model, socialite and (now) singer Pixie Geldof with her band Violet. They will be performing at the second New Band of the Day live event on April 11 along with the likes of Josh Jumra, BIGKids and Angel. Her forthcoming debut single is titled "Y.O.U" and is due out on May 7 via Luv Luv Luv. The good news is that the youngest of the Geldof sisters can actually pen and sing a good melancholic Pop song, listen below...
