"INSIDE is a song about dealing with the inner struggle of being yourself. We were pretty shaken when we heard of the teen suicides in the US around the bullying they were experiencing for being LGBT. (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgender). INSIDE was a song where we tried to put ourselves in their shoes - what these teens must have felt, what were they dealing with, what was the internal struggle they fought?…we drew on the racism we both experienced growing up being minorities - the hate that I had (Fernandez) toward myself for being South Asian and not fitting into life in suburban Hamilton/Stoney Creek." - Fernandez

Toronto-based Alterntive duo Freedom or Death - who after having toured Europe over the Summer are about to begin their Canadian tour - recently unleashed the amazingly done visuals for their song titled "Inside"

"Freedom Or Death - We are a duo from Toronto, who released our first self-titled EP in June 2010.  We had both been in the Canadian music industry for over 10 years and decided to leave the corporate environment of the major labels to pursue “our” art over “their” business. Every song (or child as we call them) was raised to be the best it could be on its own.  We didn't worry about it making sense and how it would fit in with the rest of our songs (children).  What resulted is a mix of genres from Electronica, Indie Rock to Folk." - Freedom or Death Music
