Hidden Talent 9PM, Channel 4 (Last Episode: Tuesday, 24 April)

Richard Deacon hosts a hour-long journey of discovery with two unsuspectingly talented individuals on Channel 4. Chosen from thousands for their unusually high scores in scientific tests, they’re thrown in at the deep end to see if they’ve really got the goods. Not as entertaining as I had thought it would be but I was impressed with Maggie the nurse who with just 18 days of training managed to successfully climb the Old Man of Stoer in Sutherland; a massive rock face that managed to make me feel uneasy just peering at it from under my covers. Brenda the retired Bridal boutique owner slipped into the role of F.B.I interrogator frighteningly well and managed to detect the liar in a line up including two actors, a fruit and veg salesman and a professional poker player. Worth watching if only to remind you of the immense capabilities we possess as human beings and spur you own curiosity about what your hidden talent might be. iLive... SADE x The O2 Arena x May 31, 2011 (Review)

What a NIGHT! What a Concert! What a Performance! What a Woman! What a Band! Where do I even begin because Sade at the O2 Arena was/is easily one of my favourite concert experiences in a long while and to think that Ms. Sade Adu and her band had not performed in her home country in near on twenty years (since 1993), you had to wonder why it's taken so long for them to come and do what they did at the O2 Arena last Tuesday (May 31) - they were simply PHENOMENAL and I bet we would have no qualms at all paying to see that set countless times between 1993 and now BUT alas I digress a bit...

When the good people at Superbreak (I'll tell you about them shortly) reached out to us with tickets to go see Sade at the O2 Arena and even though we had important exams in a few days, it was really and truly a NO brainer and can I just add that the decision was well WORTH it!
