Turtle Boy: A Bodyshock Special (10PM, Channel 4)
It always surprises me how resilient a person can be,
especially when it is a young person who is afflicted with a terrible illness
or condition that most of us couldn’t even imagine dealing with. The
perseverance and fight for life is inspiring and reminds us that our problems
may be just a drop in the ocean compared to the plight of others. Turtle Boy: A Bodyshock Special is
another one of these documentaries about a brave young boy and the struggle he
and his family go through every day. The first episode of the Bodyshock series brings us an intimate look into
the life of six year old Didier from Columbia, living with a giant mole that
covers 40% of his body.
