What do you reckon? I like Cynikal as a rapper and I enjoy his flow and lyrics on this one but something about Ms. Aramide on the hook just doesn't work for me. I can't quite place my fingers on it BUT she didn't really own it, did she? I was starting to feel her lil adlibing at the end of the song though... Maybe you can tell me what was missing, if anything at all?

I was just browsing through The Fader's Listomania 2010 and I bumped into this on one of their lists & I was completely blown away! As far as covers or refixes go and especially of this song that has had bucket loads of covers/refixes in 2010, this ONE is damn near perfect! I wouldn't go as far as saying it's better than the original Gyptian song BUT I definitely prefer this one right now!!! Listen to NY Producer, Uproot Andy add his twist to the tune right after as well, do NOT skip it!!!

iDocumentary... Michael Jordan: Invincible (Trailer)
A documentary filled with Michael Jordan's court highlights? You've gotta love it even though it's Indie and has to be said, unauthorized from the man himself. German Film-maker and Editor, LK12 Productions has set himself the huge task of depicting Michael Jordan's Airness in 10-20 minutes to be released in 2011 and I for one am NOT mad at that!!!
My only problem with it is in the credits where it says 'A Michael Jordan Film', please DO NOT deceive the people with some mockery! Other than that, I like the idea and the trailer is tres DOPE, in fact it's more than dope, it's AWESOME is what it is! I've watched it quite a few times already! The man was a BEAST! Every Jordan fan & any basketball fan in general will enjoy this & maybe the new kids will get it right once and for all who the greatest ever basketball player really is!

The details are sketchy right about now but pictures hitting the web a couple days ago suggest a new collective is about to stake claim and take hold of the UK's Spoken Word scene in 2011! Individually, Greeds, Dean Atta, Deanna Rodger, James Massiah, Indigo Williams and Hollie McNish are amongst the very best spoken word artists in the London scene at the moment and iDare to think what kinda amazingness this collaborative venture will spring forth... We'll have to keep our eyes peeled, won't we?
