iMusic... Incisive + Julian Marley + Dionne Reid - Winners (Video)

"Winners - a summer banger with a positive message, sitting on a bed of reggae influenced, bassline heavy production by TE1. With this in mind, who better to lace the chorus than Julian Marley, one of sons of Legend himself Bob Marley. In true reggae style, UK songstress Dionne Reid seals the deal with heart warming backing vocals to assist."

Out on August 19 via MyIsh Records, enjoy the excellent new music single and video from London rapper/producer Incisive titled "Winners" which features Julian Marley and Dionne Reid. Check it out UP top...

iReview... Style & Substance: Battle of the Sexes @ Queen of Hoxton (December 6, 2011)

Last week Tuesday (December 6), I had the privilege of being invited to the last Style & Substance live music showcase of the year put together by London-based event managers Sistova Production. This showcase - tagged Style & Substance - Battle of the Sexes - saw the otherwise all-female music showcase invite some of the most promising emerging UK male artists and performers to pit their talent against a selection of up and coming UK female artists and performers plus it was also in aid of the Fibromyalgia Association UK charity...

iVideo... Dionne Reid - Angel

On what would have been Tupac Shakur's 40th birthday (June 16), emerging British singer/songwriter Dionne Reid releases the extremely powerful, compelling and heart-wrenching visuals to relay her song titled "Angel" which samples the original acoustic version of popular Tupac and Nas collaboration "Thugz Mansion". You really need to watch this one!

This record "Angel" is in memory of all the loved ones that we have lost and especially in Ms. Reid's case, in memory of her late Grandmother. It is SUCH a beautiful song accompanied by an equally compelling visual treatment courtesy of Sebastian Thiel of Upshot TV and I cannot stop watching it.
